This composition was made as a study of how lines interact in 3D space. The form was made using balsa wood, hot glue, and black and white paint. While the composition was originally fashioned with the cypress tree of Van Gogh's Starry Night as inspiration, the form became reminiscent of a penguin's body, and with some minor alterations and paint, became fashioned as such. The structure is connected using triangular forms, a strong shape that is related to the two distinctly different topics of engineering and 3D modeling.
