SevOne: Win Wire

Document Template Design | 2020

SevOne was interested in creating a new type of document, called a ‘Win Wire,’ that would be used internally to spread good news about victories within the business. However, unlike the standard document which would be sent to the design team for layout, SevOne wanted to make a template that could be used by anyone in the company to make a new document with a quick turnaround. This creates a new set of challenges in the design process.

Instead of handing off the final files for this template as an InDesign package or a PDF, this document design was instead finalized as a custom PowerPoint template. All of the text is editable and there are designated text styles that are automatically changed using the tabs settings in PowerPoint.

Although this solution is seamless for use by anyone with minor training, the development was a challenge and is not advised for most projects.

Note: As the original content of this document was for internal use only, I have altered the document to use placeholder content instead.
